Participants can save up to 10% on flights to attend national and international competitions hosted in Canada

OTTAWA, ONTARIO – Speed Skating Canada is excited to announce that our discount program with Air Canada – the country’s largest domestic and international airline – will continue for the 2025-26 season, helping members of the Canadian speed skating community save money on flight bookings to attend national and international events.

As part of this program, which is entering its third season, individualized discount codes have been created for each national and international level event hosted in Canada this season. The codes can be found in the table below and will also be added to all event webpages on www.speedskating.ca.

– Discount codes can be applied to domestic flights within Canada, as well as to international flights to and from Canada.
– Discount codes can be used on flights from Air Canada, Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge. They can also be applied to 4-digit flights operated by Air Canada’s regional partners and Star Alliance carriers (e.g. AC operated by United Airlines).
– Discounts range from 5% to 10% off the base fare cost (excluding taxes). Discount amount is based on ticket class selected.
– Discount is applicable for flights in and out of the host communities up to 7 days before the start of the competition and up to 7 days after the end of the competition.
– For areas without direct Air Canada service, the discount code is valid for flights in and out of the closest major airport (Rimouski is valid for Quebec City; Sherbrooke is valid for Montreal).
