Kim Boutin and Steven Dubois were crowned this year’s Canadian short track champions, concluding three long competition days at the Canadian Speed Skating Championships in Quebec City. It was the third consecutive national titles of their respective careers.

Ivanie Blondin and Connor Howe both earned national titles on the third day of the Canadian Speed Skating Championships presented by Intact Insurance, brining home gold in their respective 1500m races at the Centre de glace Intact Assurance in Quebec City.

The second day of the Canadian Speed Skating Championships presented by Intact Insurance saw four different skaters – Isabelle Weidemann, Ivanie Blondin, Laurent Dubreuil and Ted-Jan Bloemen – earn a national title in front of a passionate crowd at the Centre de glace Intact Assurance in Quebec City.

Tickets are now on-sale for the first-ever joint Canadian Speed Skating Championships, one that will see the country’s top short and long track skaters converge on Quebec City.

The state-of-the-art Centre de glace Intact Assurance in Quebec City will have the unique distinction of hosting the first-ever joint Canadian Short Track Championships and Canadian Long Track Championships this coming fall.
