Laurent Dubreuil stole the show on the opening day of the 2022 Canadian Speed Skating Championships presented by Intact Insurance, finishing the 500m in a blistering 34.37 seconds to claim the national title in front of family and friends at the Centre de glace Intact Assurance.
Tickets are now on-sale for the first-ever joint Canadian Speed Skating Championships, one that will see the country’s top short and long track skaters converge on Quebec City.
Initiative presented by Intact Insurance will send Canadian speed skating medalists on a six-stop cross-country tour from September 6-17, 2022.
The state-of-the-art Centre de glace Intact Assurance in Quebec City will have the unique distinction of hosting the first-ever joint Canadian Short Track Championships and Canadian Long Track Championships this coming fall.
