ISU Short Track World Tour

Canada's journey to the Crystal Globe begins on home ice!

For two consecutive weekends this October, the Maurice-Richard Arena in Montreal will be the stage for an unprecedented international showdown featuring more than 200 of the world's fastest short track speed skaters from over 30 countries. The stakes this season are enormous: athletes will not only battle to earn valuable points for the prestigious Crystal Globe, but also to secure their qualification for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano-Cortina! Come with your family and friends, feel the blistering speed, admire daring strategies, and help us create a true home ice advantage for our Ice Maples!

Maurice Richard Arena

Named after the Quebec hockey legend, the Maurice Richard Arena is the second largest in the greater Montréal area, with modern facilities for major sports and recreational events. The arena is the longtime training centre for the Canadian national short track program and has hosted numerous international short track competitions, notably the ISU World Championships in 1987, 2002, 2014, 2018 and 2022.
