The Canadian Junior Short Track Championships presented by Intact Insurance features skaters aged 15 to 18 competing for individual distance and overall titles in their respective gender category. In addition to skaters accumulating points towards the end-of-season Canadian Rankings, the results from this competition are used to help select the team that will represent Canada at the ISU World Junior Short Track Championships, as well as on the newly developed ISU Junior Short Track World Cup circuit.
