OTTAWA, ONTARIO – If you thought you would have to wait until the fall to get your speed skating fix, think again! The International Skating Union (ISU) is offering live streams of all the 2018 and 2019 ISU World Championships across all disciplines.
Every day at 6:00 AM EST, from March 28 to May 5, speed skating fans from around the world can immerse themselves in the beauty, excitement and thrill that World Championships have to offer on the ISU Skating YouTube Channel. If you can't tune in live, the videos will remain on YouTube for the foreseable future.
Among many highlights, Canadian fans will get the opportunity to re-watch the most important moments of the past two seasons, including Charles Hamelin winning the elusive world champion title on home ice in Montreal; Isabelle Weidemann, Ivanie Blondin and Ted-Jan Bloemen reaching the podium in Calgary; the final races of Samuel Girard’s career; and Kim Boutin finishing the season ranked second overall.
