QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC – We are delighted to inform the speed skating community that the 135th Annual General Meeting and Congress of Speed Skating Canada will be held at the Travelodge Hotel & Convention Centre in Quebec City from Thursday, June 16 to Saturday, June 18, 2022.
For the first time in three years, we will have the opportunity to gather in-person to celebrate the speed skating community’s successes of the 2021-22 season. Our colleagues at the Fédération de patinage de vitesse du Québec will play host to three days of workshops, networking, and social events (including an evening skate at the new Centre de glaces Intact Assurance).
We invite Presidents, Executive Directors, staff, and volunteers at the PTSO and club levels to join us for three days of valuable knowledge-sharing and engagement opportunities. Our time together will be particularly important as we reconnect and begin planning for the future of our sport. Facilitated sessions to kick-start work on our 2023-2027 Strategic Plan will play a key role in defining our work together for years to come.
