Speed Skating Canada publishes 2023-23 Annual Report

Report highlights key accomplishments made on and off the ice over the past year

OTTAWA, ONTARIO – Speed Skating Canada is pleased to be sharing the organization’s 2023-24 Annual Report with our community ahead of our 137th Annual General Meeting of the Members this weekend in Montreal.

The 2023-24 Annual Report highlights some of our key accomplishments as a speed skating community over the past year, detailing the history-making results of our national team skaters, the continued growth of our grassroots programming, our meaningful progress in building a positive and inclusive culture, and much more. We invite you to read through the document and reflect on the progress that we’ve made, at all levels across the country, as we work together to accomplish the objectives outlined in our 2023-27 Strategic Plan.

As we look ahead, each member of the Canadian speed skating community – PTSOs, clubs, athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, partners and staff – will continue to play a vital role in helping Speed Skating Canada achieve its mission of building a fun, safe and inclusive speed skating community across Canada that empowers everyone to grow strong and healthy.

We look forward to strengthening our collaboration and capitalizing on our collective strengths to continue moving our sport faster forward.
