Speed Skating Canada publishes 2025-26 Annual Report

Report highlights key accomplishments made on and off the ice over the past year

OTTAWA, ONTARIO – Speed Skating Canada is pleased to be sharing the organization’s 2025-26 Annual Report with our community ahead of our 139th Annual General Meeting this weekend in Ottawa/Gatineau.

The 2025–26 season was truly remarkable for Speed Skating Canada, with exceptional Olympic performances and success at every level of our sport. The Annual Report highlights some of our key accomplishments as a speed skating community over the past year, detailing the history-making results of our national team skaters, the continued growth of our grassroots programming, our meaningful progress in building a positive and inclusive culture, and much more.

We invite you to read through the document and reflect on the progress that we’ve made, at all levels across the country, as we work together to accomplish the objectives outlined in our 2023-27 Strategic Plan. These accomplishments were possible thanks to the dedication of our Board of Directors, staff and volunteers, along with the invaluable support of our government, corporate and community partners. Our strong relationships and shared commitment have positioned Speed Skating Canada for continued success.

We have much to celebrate and even more to look forward to. With exceptional athletes, innovative programming and a united community, the future of speed skating in Canada has never looked brighter.
