Speed Skating Canada recruiting for its Board of Directors ahead of 137th Annual General Meeting

Candidates can apply before August 5 for one of five open Director positions up for election during September 2024 meeting

OTTAWA, ONTARIO – Speed Skating Canada – the national governing body for Canada’s most successful Olympic sport – is looking for dedicated individuals with diverse experiences, and dynamic and relevant skills, to take on a leadership role within the organization as part of its Board of Directors.

In taking on this governance role, you will contribute to SSC’s mission to build a fun, safe and inclusive speed skating community across Canada that empowers everyone to grow strong and healthy. Board Members will work collaboratively toward the continued growth and development of the organization according to its 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, while strengthening partnerships across the Canadian speed skating community.

The following roles are expected to be available for election during Speed Skating Canada’s 137th Annual General Meeting and Congress, which will take place in Montreal from September from September 13-15, 2024.
