Quotes

“It’s good to be back on the podium. I had a lot of fun racing and especially medalling in the mixed relay! We had some great races and we hope to be back on the podium a lot more often.”

Kim Boutin

“I’m very happy with my race! Lots of action and overtaking. I managed my energy really well. There wasn’t much at stake for me, but I knew I had to beat Jiwon to allow William to win the 1500m ranking, as he was injured in training.”

Pascal Dion

“It was a great day. I had good legs, I felt good and I was setting the fastest times all day. The final was a bit of a jumble with a contact and a big block from the Korean. The referees decided not to call anything, so I finished second. I think I can go for gold with the way I’m skating tomorrow. Great performances in all the relays too, with our first medal in the mixed relay!”
