New Brunswick natives Rikki Doak and Courtney Sarault reached the podium at the ISU World Cup Short Track on Sunday, winning 500m bronze and 1000m silver, respectively.

Maxime Laoun and Kim Boutin won gold in their respective 500m races at the ISU World Cup Short Track in Salt Lake City.

Charles Hamelin’s legendary short track speed skating career came to an emotional end on Sunday, as the 37-year old led the Canadian men’s relay team to bronze at the ISU World Short Track Championships in Montreal.

Pascal Dion and Kim Boutin were both crowned vice World Champions at the conclusion of the ISU World Short Track Championships in Montreal on Sunday, marking the first time since 2016 that Canada has reached the overall podium in both the men’s and women’s overall in the same year.
